A culinary paradise awaits at Sofitel Luxembourg Le Grand Ducal's restaurant, Mu. Perched atop the hotel, it offers unparalleled views of the city throughout the day, from breakfast to dinner. The circular layout ensures breathtaking panoramic vistas from every table. With plush velvet seating, muted tones, and soft lighting, the ambiance is inviting and conducive to relaxed conversations. Sharing is central to the Mu concept, both in service and cuisine. Embracing a warm and modern approach, the menu showcases dishes designed for communal enjoyment or individual indulgence.

A place of honour for Luxembourg cows

The restaurant’s name pays tribute to the star on its menu: beef. Pay attention and you will hear a strange moo-ing when you say it. Mu is also the number 40 in Greek, the same occupied by the restaurant on Boulevard d’Avranches. Coincidences inviting you to celebrate beef, directly supplied by local producers. Straight from Luxembourg’s meadows, it is very tender, ordered by purists as a fillet, accompanied by a delicious homemade sauce and French fries. Fans of taste prefer prime rib in its simplest attire, while burger devotees will snap up the restaurant’s signature dish. Beef prepared in different ways, to suit all tastes.

International inspiration and local production

While beef is deliberately the highlight on the menu, fans of fish and vegetarians are not forgotten. Inspired by cultural diversity, the menu proposes international dishes for a cosmopolitan clientele. South America, Africa, Asia…, very rich, diverse proposals.

But while ideas come from around the globe, ingredients are sourced locally whenever possible. Bread from a local baker, flour, mustard, even sesame, are, for example, very short circuit.
