24 (gourmet) hours

Enjoy an unforgettable dining experience at Sofitel Luxembourg Europe where your senses will be roused from dawn to dusk.

9 a.m: a flavoursome start

To start the day on the right foot, Sofitel Luxembourg Europe proposes a sumptuous breakfast buffet. In addition to crisp, pure-butter Viennese pastries from the Croissanterie, eggs prepared to order, and fresh fruit, do not miss the Luxembourgeois corner where you can savour a delicious bretzel with almond filling. To meet all desires, a healthier selection includes porridge, white omelettes with spinach, detox beverages, and much more.

1 p.m: Dolce vita in the dish

For lunch, Le Radici invites you on a culinary adventure in Italy with authentic, refined trans-Alpine cuisine. On the menu: beef barpaccio, piedmontese vitello tonnato, fillet of sea bream in almond crust with pistacchio of Bronte, but also irresistible tagliatelle served in a Grana cheese wheel. Choose great Italian vintages to enhance your meal and end with a gourmet touch such as tiramisu or crème brûlée with Amalfi lemon.

5 p.m: time for tea

Head for Sixtyfour°, the bar at Sofitel Luxembourg Europe, to discover a trilogy of homemade pastries that change each season. As for drinks, there is something to suit everyone’s taste. From classics to the most sophisticated, such as iced green tea with bergamot and lemon, or lemonade infused with lime and thyme. Not forgetting essential hot drinks, from cappuccino to matcha or latte macchiato.

7 p.m: the cocktail hour

A few hours later, prolong your enjoyment with a cocktail creation at the bar. Let yourself be tempted by La Vie en rose (Lillet, rosé wine, fresh grapefruit juice, rose water, peach) or Cidre en bouche (vodka, lime, Calvados, apple juice). Non-alcoholic choices include PaBlooma (infusion of thyme, grapefruit ice cubes, lime, honey and non-alcoholic champagne) and South African Heatwave (cherry juice, Rooibos tea, orgeat syrup, flakes of pimento).

9 p.m: 3-course dinner

Specializing in grilled meats, the De Feierwon restaurant honours Luxembourg’s know-how, especially in its 3-course Discovery Menu. Let yourself be surprised by the os à moelle du terroir (marrowbone) with fleur de sel or the gourmet bouchée à la reine. Then, savour a veal tomahawk or loin of pork, and finally, relish homemade paangecher, delicious pancakes flambés in the diningroom with local pear brandy.
